HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CLASS? 

I like to add a blend of running, sprinting, jumping, and climbing into each and every class that I teach.  With that said, each class will have a unique focus—such as Booty Burn, Core Challenge, Hills and Drills, and more.  My riders can expect to sweat and have fun, all at the same time.

WHY DO YOU RIDE? 

I love being on the bike, whether outdoors on my road bike or here in the studio; the workout is always intense and I enjoy the opportunity to workout with others alongside me!

WHAT DO YOU FOCUS ON IN YOUR CLASS?

My goal as an instructor is to keep my riders motivated to the finish line.  I blend of jumps, sprints, slow and steady climbs, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), ladders, and more.  In each class, I will also draw your attention to body alignment and core function to enable you to enhance your overall riding experience.  

MY BACKGROUND

I have been teaching and training individuals and groups in many disciplines since 1983. I have been trained by some of the top professionals in the industry such as Johnny Goldberg (founder of the Spinning® program), Beth Shaw (YogaFit®), Petra Kolber and Gin Miller (Reebok Master Trainers), and Les Mills (Body Pump®) to name a few. I have maintained a lifelong commitment to health and fitness and I am dedicated to helping others in their own personal pursuit of weight loss, increased fitness and overall health.

In my free time, I enjoy training for and participating in marathons and half marathons, cycling, yoga, and lifting weights, as well as, spending time with her husband and four children in their many sports and activities. Rita has completed five marathons and over 30 half-marathons since 2008 and continues to participate in running events nationwid

Anyone can do anything when he or she makes up his or her mind to do it and then follows through with the appropriate training and dedication. One is never too old, too large, too small, too ANYTHING to try!
