HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CLASS?
I enjoy the variety of cycling through hills, sprints and hovers but I’m particularly fond of jumps! I like using upbeat, fast-paced music. I like classes that are a challenge but that can be tailored to each participant. Using proper form is also very important to me—no leaning on those bikes, please! I strive to create a positive, encouraging and supportive environment while pushing you to have your best class.
WHY DO YOU RIDE?
I discovered spinning when I was in my 20’s and loved it. It was the first time that I felt like I was “good” at a physical activity. I enjoyed the fast-paced class, the fun music and the camaraderie in the class. I enjoy a good sweat and love that I’m building strength, endurance and power in one workout.
WHAT DO YOU FOCUS ON IN YOUR CLASS?
My classes are for everyone! I want to emphasize that people of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels can make the class their own. I’m there to guide, encourage and push my participants. Working out has helped me through so many tough moments in my life and I really want to share that passion with you. You'll learn to breathe through the hard moments, to learn to relinquish all control and find inspiration in all you've accomplished.
I have a degree in Speech Communication and Public Relations from SIUE. I work in marketing for a regional sports television network. I’m a beach girl at heart and travel there as often as I can—that is when I’m not at Disney!
